Photoshop

I appreciate Photoshop's selection tools and the different filters. I especially like the various custom tools which can be used to create custom buttons. I would use Photoshop to:

  1. Touch up and repair photos.
  2. Make gift cards.
  3. Add text to photos.

Fireworks

I appreciate the ease of creating navigation bars and web pages. The selection tools are not as robust as Photoshop's. I would use Fireworks to:

  1. Make a quick and easy navigation bar.
  2. Create images, including logos, for web pages.
  3. Create web pages.

Illustrator

This was my first time using Illustrator. It was fun (at times) but there is a learning curve. I am looking forward to taking a class in this. I would use Illustrator to:

  1. Create logos.
  2. Create gift cards.
  3. Create artwork for web pages and newsletters.

Acrobat

I have used several versions of Acrobat, and it gets better all the time! I've used it to combine documents, insert, delete and move around pages, password protect and create fillable forms. I would use Acrobat to:

  1. Combine multiple documents.
  2. Insert media such as Flash Animation.
  3. Create and complete fillable forms.
